An information sign
With-flow cycle lane ahead
A blue sign with a cycle and a dashed line warns that a with-flow cycle lane starts ahead - so you're ready for cyclists and to keep out of their lane.
01
What it means
It's advance notice of a mandatory cycle lane coming up on your side of the road. Read it early: don't drift into the lane once it starts, and be ready to give cyclists plenty of room as you pass. It helps you plan lane position before the lane itself appears.
02
Where you'll see it
On the approach to a with-flow cycle lane, on the same road it runs along.
03
On your driving test
Use the warning to sort your position early and to anticipate cyclists - the planning and observation examiners reward.
