Cycle route only
A blue circle with a pedal cycle means a route for cycles only - motor vehicles, including cars and motorbikes, must not enter.

What it means
The blue circle makes it mandatory: this route is reserved for pedal cycles. It's used for dedicated cycle tracks and paths kept separate from motor traffic. As a driver you don't drive on it; where it crosses or meets your road, give way to cyclists as the hierarchy of road users requires.

Segregated cycle tracks, park paths, and cycle links away from the main carriageway.

You won't drive on a cycles-only route, but you must give cyclists room and priority where their route meets yours - a marked point examiners watch.
