#4 most common reason people fail
What it means
Turning right correctly: positioning close to the centre line, watching for oncoming traffic and pedestrians, and turning only through a safe gap without cutting the corner.
What a fault looks like
Poor position or a slightly misjudged gap is a driving fault; turning across oncoming traffic that has to brake, or cutting onto the wrong side, is serious or dangerous.
What learners get wrong
Sitting too far left so following traffic cannot pass, or accepting an oncoming gap that is really too small.
What we recommend
Position just left of the centre line, wheels straight while you wait, and only commit to a gap you are sure of. If in doubt, wait - a refused gap is never a fault.
