What it means
Carrying out the one reversing manoeuvre you are set - parallel park, bay park, or pull up on the right and reverse - under control and with all-round observation.
What a fault looks like
Touching the kerb or a slightly wide finish is a driving fault; losing control or reversing without proper observation is serious or dangerous.
What learners get wrong
Focusing so hard on the steering that the all-round observation drops away, or rushing it.
What we recommend
Go slowly and keep looking all around, not just where the car is going. Control and observation matter more than perfect precision - take your time.
